Overall
Your spreadsheet project will be assessed in the following way:
20% For sourcing your own data rather than using the data set provided
50% For evidence of formatting your data, charts and graphs and creating a summary page
30% For the organisation of your report.
The data set
Your data provides at least three pages of two dimensional data that can meaningfully be drawn together in a summary page.
Formatting data
20 marks are given for formatting the data. 1 mark for simple processes (making bold, coloring etc); 2 marks for using formula or dynamic processes (such as freezing rows or conditional coloring).
Formatting charts
10 marks are given for creating and formatting the charts.
Formatting graphs
10 marks are given for creating and formatting the charts.
Summary Page
10 marks are given for a summary page that is drawn from cells, not copy pasted. The summary page should have a clear and reasonable purpose.
Writing the report
Up to 10 marks – the report is complete.
Up to 10 marks – the report is well organised.
Up to 10 marks – the report is coherent.
